1978-2002

The NOAA/CMDL sampling site at Palmer Station, Antarctica is operated in cooperation with the National Science Foundation. The NOAA/CMDL flask data from Palmer Station show an increase in the annual atmospheric CO2 mixing ratio from 333.96 parts per million (ppm) in 1978 to 370.75 ppm in 2002.
