Trends

The sampling site at Mace Head is operated in cooperation with the University College Galway. The first NOAA/CMDL flask air samples from Mace Head were collected in late 1991. The NOAA/CMDL flask data from Mace Head show an increase in the annual mixing ratio from 356.20 parts per million (ppm) in 1992 to 373.60 ppm in 2002.
