File Descriptions

This section describes the content and format of each of the 15 files that comprise this NDP. Because CDIAC distributes the data set in a variety of media (e.g., via anonymous FTP and 9-track magnetic tape), each of the 15 files is referenced by both an ASCII filename, which is given in lower-case, bold-faced type (e.g., readme), and a file number. The remainder of this section describes (or lists, where appropriate) the contents of each of the 15 files. The files are discussed in the order in which they appear on the magnetic tapes.
