Carbon system calculations; Measurement of alkalinity, other CO2 system parameters, and oxygen; Automation of measurements.

Summary of Experience

Participated in numerous cruises performing measurements of alkalinity, dissolved inorganic carbon, and oxygen, and analyzed data from these and other cruises. Developed software to inter-relate the parameters of the CO2 system in seawater. Developed instrumentation and software for determination of titration alkalinity, dissolved oxygen, and spectrophotometric pH.
