"Direct Effects of Atmospheric CO2 Enrichment on Plants and
 Ecosystems: An Updated Bibliographic Data Base" (ORNL/CDIAC-70)

 This recently updated bibliography provides relevant information
 on recent literature concerning the direct effects of elevated 
 atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) on plants and 
 ecosystems. The bibliography provides complete bibliographic citations, 
 abstracts, keywords, and common and scientific plant names for 
 approximately 800 references published between 1980 and 1994 (half 
 the cited references were published in 1990 or later). 

 The eight *.BIB files represented in CDIAC's ftp area are binary files and
 are provided in PAPYRUS (TM) Bibliography System software, version 7.0.3 
 (Research Software Design, 2718 SW Kelly Street, Suite 181, Portland, 
 OR 97201). The current version of the PAPYRUS Retriever and documentation 
 may be downloaded via ftp by accessing the Research Software Design's 
 ftp site (ftp://ftp.rsd.com/vendors/rsd).

 This bibliography data base is also available from CDIAC in report form 
 and in other machine-readable formats. These formats include ASCII text 
 file, word processing formats, and bibliographic software data bases. 
 Users can then manipulate these bibliographic data on their own 
 computer systems.
