image

Compiled by Robert M. Cushman (Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center)

This document updates the 1995 report Graduate Student Theses Supported by DOE's Environmental Sciences Division (DOE/ER-0649T) and the 2000 Update, providing complete bibliographic citations, abstracts, and keywords for doctoral and master's theses published in late 2000 and 2001, supported fully or partly by the U.S. Department of Energy's Environmental Sciences Division through the National Institute for Global Environmental Change (NIGEC). Information on the major professor, department, principal investigator, and program area is given for each abstract.

The Fiscal Year 2001 Update is available in the following formats:

  • ascii file (visible with your web browser, but note that some special typographic characters, such as superscripts and subscripts, Greek letters, and mathematical symbols, are not represented correctly)
  • WordPerfect (a registered trademark of the Corel Corporation, 1600 Carling Ave., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1Z 8R7) file (not visible with your web browser - open the file directly with WordPerfect software or save the file in the specified directory on your system; for more complete instructions see Accessing CDIAC's Anonymous FTP Area)
  • pdf file (users may print the entire document by downloading the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software)

You may also be interested in the home page for the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Biological and Environmental Research, which provides information on that office's current research areas as well as support for fellowships and education programs.

This update could not have been compiled without the assistance of NIGEC and the principal investigators, major professors, and graduate students who kindly provided the citations.
